Chesney, Lambert, Shelton Among First Round of CMA Awards Performers Announced

The CMA Awards aren't called “Country’s biggest night” for nothing, and it looks the 44th annual ceremony, airing live Wednesday, Nov. 10, will be no different. 
 
The Country Music Association announced Wednesday the first group of Country stars who are confirmed to perform on this year’s show. Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Zac Brown Band with special guest Alan Jackson make up the very prestigious bunch.
 
This year, Lambert set the all-time record for most CMA nominations by a female artist in the show’s history with nine nods, while reigning Vocal Group of the Year Lady Antebellum raked in five nominations for themselves.

Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the celebration.
