Darryl Worley, an artist signed with Stroudavarious, recently held his 9th annual Tennessee River Run fundraiser. This event took place Sept. 18 and raised $200,000 plus. The proceeds from the fundraiser benefit The Darryl Worley Foundation, which supports many causes, including the Brand New Darryl Worley Cancer Center in Savannah, Tenn.

Many Country artists were on hand to help in this event, including Worley himself, Lee Brice, Joe Diffie and Danny Gokey. These artists entertained 10,000 fans and participants who attended the fundraising events.

"This may have been the best year we've ever had," said Worley. "I thank God for this awesome opportunity to help people who have nowhere else to turn and I'm truly honored and humbled by these responsibilities. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work to make this another amazing event.”

The Tennessee River Run Fundraiser was founded in 2001 by Worley in order to raise money for the Darryl Worley Foundation. Since its start, the foundation had raised more than one million dollars and helps thousands of people.
