Martina McBride and Faith Hill 'Rock the Cradle'

Martina McBride and Faith Hill are no strangers to the balancing act of motherhood on top of being Country Music stars. McBride and Hill are both mothers to three children and have been present on the Country charts multiple times. On Oct. 26, these Country Music moms are going to have a chance to provide support for healthier babies and their families at the Baptist Hospital Foundation’s Rock the Cradle fundraiser. The event is to be held at Nashville’s Loveless Barn, benefiting infants born at Nashville's Baptist Hospital and the Beaman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, reported the Tennessean.

"Our goal is to provide the best experience possible, regardless of economic status, heritage or need. The proceeds from Rock the Cradle will help make a significant difference in the lives of our tiniest patients and their families,” said director of the Baptist Hospital Foundation Kristie Ryan. “The Baptist Hospital Foundation works very hard to make sure the strain these families face is minimized by assisting with clinical, financial and emotional needs.”

About 10 percent of the 7,000 babies born at Baptist Hospital yearly are in need of several days to months of intensive care. “There are many unique needs that arise, and we want to be able to help our patients and their families,” Ryan said. Funding has assisted families with babies in the NICU, provide education for nurses and aided in the renovation and equipping of the hospital’s NICU.

Table sponsorship for the event includes cocktail reception, dinner and tickets for the evening performances by McBride, Hill and others. Price ranges for sponsorship are from $1,000 to $5,000. Reservations must be made by Oct. 5. For more information, visit the Baptist Hospital website or call (615) 284-2569.
