Music legend Jimmy Webb will perform at the Americana Music Association conference at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 11. Webb’s appearance at the conference, which will be held in the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame, will promote the Grammy winner’s latest album, Just Across The River, Webb's first in 15 years.
“From the very first song, first take, first note, this record seemed blessed,” Webb said in a press release. “I hope everyone else feels what we did as we listened to the first rough mixes.”
As producer Fred Mollin put it, the record’s songs “could provide the soundtrack to your life.”
Guests on the album include Billy Joel, Willie Nelson and Vince Gill. The album is currently in stores.
