The Grand Ole Opry announced this week that it is returning home with a special concert event at the Grand Ole Opry House at the end of September. The famous six-foot oak circle has been returned to the Opry center stage, ready for the special concert event, which will take place Tuesday, Sept. 28. Brad Paisley and Little Jimmy Dickens, the Opry's oldest member at 89, were onhand to replace the famous circle (pictured).
Among the artists scheduled for the show are Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels Band, Diamond Rio, Dickens, Del McCoury Band, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Mel Tillis and Josh Turner. The show will air live on GAC.
The Opry show has been displaced from its traditional space due to the Nashville flooding back in May, in which the famous wood circle was covered by 46 inches of water. The refurbished symbol returning to the Opry House is a precursor to a myriad of special events and artist appearances in October in celebration of both the show’s return and its 85th Birthday.

Spirit of Nashville Day, Oct. 2
A full day of free tours will allow fans to check out the newly-renovated Opry House, including a new artist entrance area, 18 uniquely-themed dressing rooms and more.
85th Birthday Bash, Oct. 8 and 9
Three weekend shows, backstage tours, an afternoon salute to Country comedy show featuring Mike Snider with T. Bubba Bechtol and all-day fun in the Opry Plaza, including a free Opry Plaza Party.
Opry Goes Pink, Oct. 15
The Second Annual "Opry Goes Pink" event, benefitting Women Rock for The Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, will feature a performance by The Judds.
