Country star and philanthropist Jimmy Wayne and Bryan Foods have partnered to help those affected by the Gulf Coast oil spill by donating more than 2,500 pounds of food.
The food has been delivered to the Community Center of Saint Bernard in Arabi, La. for its Mustard Seed Distribution Program.
This is the second time Wayne and Bryan have worked together to feed the hungry. Earlier this summer, Wayne and Bryan donated 2,500 pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville to help those in need following the devastating floods in May.
“I’ve been really fortunate to be able to team up twice now with Bryan Foods to get food delivered to people in cities hard hit by disasters,” Wayne said.
