Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher has been preparing for his paparazzi moments now that he is wed to Country Music superstar Carrie Underwood. According to a recent GAC.com blog, Fisher was grilled this past week at a hockey camp for kids.
Fisher told Canada's CTV cameras of his experience. "It is what it is. I'm never really used to it. She's used to it, but it's a little different for me and [I'm] learning to deal with it. It's part of life I guess now, and you can use it for good or bad, too."
Fisher apparently takes heart that the attention is lavished on his bride and not him. "If I'm with her," he said, "they're not looking at me, so that's good."
In the meantime, husband and wife are working out their living schedule, between Underwood's Nashville home and Fisher's Ottowa, Canada, residence. The Senators hockey player has also said Ottowa will most likely win out. "She likes it, she knows how much I like it, and I want to stay here my whole career if possible," said Fisher. "We're both comfortable here. Home is where we are, so let's make this home."
