Rhonda Vincent will release her first album from her own music label, Upper Management Music, on Sept. 21, titled Taken. Vincent just announced her departure from Rounder Records in February.
According to her website, Vincent co-produced the album with her band, the Rage, who also plays on the sessions. Guest vocalists include Dolly Parton, Richard Marx and Vincent’s daughters, Sally and Tensel Sandker.
Billy Sherrill and Glen Sutton’s “Tonight My Baby’s Coming Home” will appear on the album. Vincent and her band will debut the new album at Sweet Caroline’s in New York’s Times Square on Sept. 21.
