Nashville's Doug Merrick has created a new music publishing company called RAM Writer's Group. Merrick has hired his friend and hit songwriter/producer WIll Rambeaux as RAM's flagship writer.
"Will and I have been associates for years, and when I decided to form RAM Writer's Group, I knew he would be a great asset to the new company," Merrick said in a news release.
Rambeaux has written hit songs for artists including Faith Hill, John Michael Montogomery, Patty Loveless and Kathy Mattea. He has taken home awards such as BMI's Most Performed Songs of the Year and Million-Air awards.
