Jewel, contacted by Funny or Die, was asked to pull a little joke at a crowded karaoke bar. By going undercover as the unassuming ‘Karen,’ Jewel would perform her songs with the hope of astounding the karaoke goers.
Using a large fake nose, makeup and a wig, ‘Karen’ and her ‘associates,’ who were actually actors, would enter the bar and let the plan unfold for some interesting reactions.
Later in the night, 'Karen' returned, but without the makeup. Jewel then performed for the karaoke bar, but would the karaoke crowd realize the surprising similarities between Karen and Jewel?
