Lilith Fair, a concert tour consisting of female musicians, has canceled another 10 shows. Country artists including Emmylou Harris, Miranda Lambert, Loretta Lynn, Martina McBride and Sugarland were scheduled to perform during the tour in various cities.

According to the Lilith Fair website, the recent cancellations are as follows:

  • Raleigh, N.C., Aug. 4
  • Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 6

  • Tamp, Fla., Aug. 11
  • Birmingham, Ala., Aug. 12
  • Austin, Texas, Aug. 14
  • Houston, Texas, Aug. 15

Several other shows were cancelled last month, including Nashville and Phoenix.

“We are in the midst of one of the most challenging summer concert seasons with many tours being canceled outright,” Lilith Fair co-found Terry McBride stated on the tour’s website. “Everyone involved with the tour would like to apologize to the fans and artists scheduled to play in these markets and express appreciation for all the support for the festival’s return. Lilith remains the only tour of its kind, and we are confident that fans will be amazed by what each date has to offer.”

Artists who planned to perform at cancelled shows may be performing later in the tour. The complete Lilith Tour schedule is on www.lilithfair.com.

Refunds are available at point of purchase.
