Artist Lineup Announced for Americana Music Festival

Raul-Malo
The 2010 Americana Music Festival will be Sept. 8-11 at five of Nashville’s live music venues.

Texas Troubadour Hayes Carll, punk legend Exene Cervenka, country music icon Charlie Louvin and the peerless Raul Malo are just some of the artists scheduled to perform at the Festival. More than 100 different musical performances will be featured.

The nighttime festival is open to the general public, and advance wristbands are already being sold for $50. Wristbands can be purchased through www.americanamusic.org or the AMA office at 615-386-6936. The wristbands will get you into all venues during the event. Any industry professionals can purchase Full Day Festival and Conference Registrations at the reduced rate of $300 for Americana Music Association members and $400 for non-members through June 30. Increased rates will follow.

For those interesting in the Full Festival and Conference Registration, benefits include entrance to all daytime conference music, panels and parties and priority access to all evening showcase performances. In addition, the registration also includes a ticket to the critically acclaimed Americana Honors & Awards show, presented by the Gibson Foundation, on September 9 at the Ryman Auditorium.
