The films that have millions of girls captivated have also inspired Colt Ford’s new music video.

Ford’s new video for his single, “Country and Biscuits,” will be released to coincide with the newest film in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, on June 30.

A fan of the series, Ford was excited to be able to bring his love of the popular story to the small screen in his new video.

"Twilight is such a great love story, and 'Chicken and Biscuits' is a love song about my wife and all country girls. I think the concept of this video is really funny. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do.”

Spoofs of the well-loved series have become a pop-culture phenomenon themselves. From Jersey Shore’s “The Jersey Shore Saga: Friggin’ Twilight” to Taylor Swift’s spoof on Saturday Night Live, parodies have become almost as popular as the series itself.

The video, directed by Jason “Potsy” Ponciroli and produced by Ryan Zacarias, was shot in Nolensville, Tenn. and features Bella, Jacob and the Cullen family. Ford stars as Edward.

The difference between Robert Pattison’s Edward and Ford’s Edward? Ford’s Edward craves Bella’s southern fried chicken and biscuits instead of her blood.

Eclipse, based on the third novel in the popular series by Stephenie Meyer, hit theaters on June 30.

The video premiered at CMT.com June 30 and can be viewed here.
