8/16/2007 Stephen L. Betts Newcomer Luke Bryan kicked off his first CD release, I'll Stay Me with WKAK, his hometown radio station at the Lee County Wal-Mart in Leesburg, Georgia. Although Wal-Mart was warned to "stock up" on the new CD, they sold out over 700 units in just a couple of hours. Other local stores reported the same brisk sales pace. Luke treated the crowd to an acoustic concert, accompanied by guitar player, friend and Lee County native Michael Carter, as hundreds of fans jammed the Wal-Mart aisles.
