Sugarland 'Stuck Like Glue' on Upcoming Single

Posted by Jessica Gertler on 06/29/2010

Country's dynamic duo Sugarland has released their first single, "Stuck Like Glue," from their upcoming, highly-antcipated album, The Incredible Machine, which will be available Oct. 19.
Band members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush co-wrote the songs on the CD and co-produced it with Bryon Gallimore. Their new hit, "Stuck Like Glue," was written by Nettles, Bush, Kevin Griffin and Shy Carter. The single goes to radio July 26.

“‘Stuck Like Glue’ is just plain, unashamed, Sugar-fun.” Nettles said in a press release. “It sticks in your brain, no pun intended. To me it feels young, hip and of course sassy! I can't wait for it to get out there so we can play it live in our show. We've been sitting on our hands to not play it live ‘til it was released!”
The Incredible Machine will be Sugarland's fourth studio album. They've sold eight million albums and have had six No. 1s thus far.
Be sure to check out Sugarland's new weekly video blog called The Week In Review. Fans will get a behind the scenes look at the band off stage and on the road. Check every Wednesday for a new posting.
You can also catch Nettles and Bush on the 2010 Teen Choice Awards on Nickelodeon as they vie for Best Country Group.
