Tickets for the Jimmy Buffett & Friends Live From the Gulf Coast concert were made available the morning of Wednesday, June 23, and in the span of a mere 10 minutes, all free tickets were sold out.
The concert will feature Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band, along with Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Allen Toussaint, Sonny Landreth, Jesse Winchester and additional guests.
The concert is scheduled for July 1 at Gulf Shores, Ala., and will display support for the residents and lifestyles of the Gulf Coast in light of the recent BP oil spill.
CMT will air some of the concert live from 8 - 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, and it will also be streamed live on www.CMT.com. XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio will simulcast live the performances as well.
