Country music icon and Grand Ole Opry member Charlie Daniels is set to host the America’s Opry Weekend Star-Spangled Special over the Fourth of July weekend. Country radio across the nation will air the special, in which Daniels will toast Country Music's biggest summer hits, air live performances from Opry's stage and offer salutes to America.
The Star-Spangled Special will feature music from Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Lady A, Josh Turner and the Charlie Daniels Band.
Daniels, known for his mixture of rock, Country, bluegrass and blues, is set to release his next album, Land That I Love, in August of 2010.
