8/15/2007 Stephen L. Betts A new book exploring Elvis Presley’s love of gospel music has just been released. The Gospel Side of Elvis was written by Joe Moscheo, a friend of Elvis who was also a member of the vocal group The Imperials, who backed Elvis for several years. Along with photos of memorabilia from shows, and previously-untold stories from those in Elvis' inner circle, the book contains information on many of Elvis’ favorite gospel singers, quartets and groups.
