Wynonna Judd and Cracker Barrel Help War Heroes

wynonna-judd-2010
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has partnered with five-time Grammy Award winner Wynonna Judd to support the Wounded Warrior Project. Cracker Barrel customers are now able to purchase Judd’s newest CD “Love Heals” as well as a line of retail products to be sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Wounded Warrior project. Until May 31, Cracker Barrel will double the amount donated.

Headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., the Wounded Warrior Project works to honor wounded soldiers by raising awareness and enlisting the public to help injured service members.

“For several years, Cracker Barrel has supported Wounded Warrior Project and the organization’s efforts to honor and empower injured service men and women who have returned to the United States,” said Peter Keiser, Vice President of Marketing at Cracker Barrel. “Given Wynonna’s long history of philanthropy, we were confident that she would share our commitment to support wounded warriors who are making the transition back to civilian life.”

The “Love Heals” CD is a collection of Judd’s top singles as well as three new songs. Other products available for sale include a line of accessories inspired and/or designed by Judd. Shirts, mugs, journals and wallets are just a few of the items available.

Cracker Barrel will also sell a collection of Wounded Warrior Project products. Proceeds from these items will also be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

“Wounded Warrior Project is deeply grateful to Wynonna and Cracker Barrel for their ongoing support,” said Steve Nardizzi, Executive Director of Wounded Warrior Project. “The funds raised through this partnership will support our injured warriors who have given so much for our country and help us ensure this generation of veterans is the most successful and well-adjusted in our nation’s history.”
