Kid Rock will be hosting the 2010 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on June 9, the Associated Press confirmed.
“All I can promise is I will be awesome,” Kid Rock said on his website.
Rock may be his name, but the singer has made his presence known to the Country world. He had a Country hit in 2008 with his song “All Summer Long," which hit the Top 5 on the Country singles chart. In addition, he taped an episode of CMT Crossroads with Hank Williams Jr. in 2001.
