George Strait makes history as his current single, "I Gotta Get To You," hits No. 9 on the Billboard charts marking his 82nd Billboard Top 10 hit. Additionally, the single marks 30 years of consecutive Top 10 hits for Strait, an accomplishment that no other artist of all time has achieved.
Billboard states, “30 years into his unparalleled career, the 'King of Country' shows no signs of abdicating the throne.”

Strait will be in Las Vegas this weekend for the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, where he is nominated for Entertainer of the Year for the 12th time and Top Male Vocalist for the 20th time, bringing his all-time record to 81 ACM nominations.
