Lady Antebellum’s “American Honey” Takes Billboard’s Top Spot

 

Lady Antebellum’s current single, “American Honey,” claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Country chart this week and holds strong at the top of Billboard’s Adult Top 40 chart for the third consecutive week.  “American Honey” is the group’s third consecutive No. 1 in eight months for a total of seven weeks at the summit.  Similarly, their album, Need You Now, is spending its 11th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Country albums chart.

Lady A will kicks a hectic week of performances with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday, April 13, before heading to Las Vegas to headline the annual Fremont Street Experience concert on Friday, April 16, in Las Vegas. The most nominated artist at this year’s ACM Awards with a total of seven nominations, the trio will perform live at the ceremony this Sunday, April 18, at 8 p.m. on CBS.  The next day, the group will join the biggest stars in Country music for a taping of the ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn – The Last Rodeo tribute concert in Las Vegas.
