One part slow and sultry, one part sassy and confident: that’s the combination for Laura Bell Bundy’s latest two-part record, due out April 13.
Bundy opted out of the traditional approach to her record, releasing instead a sort of yin and yang Country Music record. She draws on the inspirations of Loretta Lynn, Minnie Pearle and Sex in the City’s Carrie Bradshaw with sweet and playful Shakin’ and the dramatic and soulful Achin’.
