This year's CMA Music Festival will include its first family run, hosted by Country superstar Jo Dee Messina. The St. Jude Music Fest Road Race will be in downtown Nashville on June 12.
To participate, the registration fee is $20 through May 28, $25 after that and $30 on race day.
According to CMT.com, particpants can become St. Jude Heroes and raise additional funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by collecting donations during their training. The participants who raise $250 will receive two tickets to the CMA Fest's Saturday night show. Those who collect $500 will be invited to an exclusive brunch with Messina.
All funds collected from the race and from the St. Jude Heroes will benefit the hospital, a world-renowned pediatric cancer research center located in Memphis, Tenn.
