Already a Country Music favorite, Mark Chestnutt will hit the tour trail for Tracy Lawrence’s “Country Rat Pack” tour. Chestnutt will perform at five shows from April 3 to Aug. 15. Former Lonestar frontman Richie McDonald is also a part of the tour. Originally Tracy Byrd was scheduled to headline the tour, but announced earlier this year that he would not be joining the boys on the road.
“Tracy Byrd is a very good friend of mine so when they called asking if I could fill in, there was absolutely no hesitation from me; I said yes,” Chesnutt said. “Being a 'Rat Packer' gives me a chance to reunite with my old Roadhouse buddy Tracy Lawrence, and I've always respected Richie McDonald. I just can’t wait.”
Lawrence and Chestnutt are long-time friends sure to give audiences a unique musical experience and some friendly banter. Combined, the two friends have 20 No. 1 hits under their belts.
