Joe Nichols Lends His Voice to Colt Ford’s Next CD

Joe-Nichols
Joe Nichols will be featured on the track “She Ain’t Too Good for That” on Colt Ford’s new album, Chicken and April. This isn’t the first time the two artist have teamed up on a project. Ford’s vocals are featured in the dance remix for “Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall Off,” from Nichols current album, Old Things New.
“It is amazing to have Joe on my record,” Ford said. “He is one of my favorite Country singers of all time. I know who he is when I hear him and I just love the tone of his voice. He is what a Country singer should sound like in my mind and I don’t think anyone could have done the song any better.”
While Ford may shower Nichols with praises, Nichols also has several compliments for pal Ford. “He’s doing something a little different in Country Music—something that stands out and is maybe attracting a few more fans to the format, coming in to check it out because of Colt.”
While helping out Ford on his latest album, Nichols is also experiencing his own success. His latest hit single, “Gimme That Girl,” is climbing closer and closer to the Top 10, with the song selling 15,000 downloads a week.
