Carrie Underwood will kick off one of the biggest country music tours of the year tomorrow, March 11 in Reading, PA. Underwood's 'Play On' tour, which is hydrated by Vitamanwater and sponsored by Pedigree, includes over 50 dates hitting several U.S. cities as well as a few stop in Canada. The tour will wrap on June 20 in Saskatoon, SK.
This tour features many special collaboraters in order to make it one of the biggest tours of the year. The tour director, Raj Kapoor has brought in some top name collaborators including Michael Jackson's "This Is It" production designer, Michael Cotten, as well as Emmy Award Winning costume designer, Soyon An. The “Play On Tour” sets out to bring Carrie's hits to life.
Opening acts for the 'Play On' tour include Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia, who are featured in one of Underwood's songs, "What Can I Say,' from her new album.
