Tammy Wynette Memorabilia Comes to Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Tammy-Wynette
Tammy Wynette’s awards, stage costumes and other memorabilia will be part of an upcoming display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The collection was presented by George Richey, Wynette’s widower, and Wanda Williams, the co-trustee of this part of her estate.

The collection features 14 stage costumes and her Grammy, CMA and ACM Awards, as well as sheet music for “A Woman’s Needs,” which she recorded with Elton John. His autograph reads, "The Queen of Country Meets the Queen of England. Love you, Elton John."

Wynette died in 1998, the same year she was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
