Vince Gill made a surprise appearance during Eric Clapton’s Feb. 27 show at Nashville’s Sommet Center. The two swapped guitar licks on “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out,” “Running on Faith,” “I’ve Got a Rock and Roll Heart” and an acoustic arrangement of “Layla.” Gill returned to the stage at the end of the show to play on “Crossroads.”
Gill will also perform at Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival on June 26 at Chicago’s Toyota Park.
