Country newbie Sarah Buxton's single, "Outside My Window," from her debut album, sold more than 12,000 paid downloads last week. That is the largest opening digital single sales from a debut album for any female country performer in Nielsen Soundscan's history, according to CountryStandardTime.com.
Buxton has been opening for Martina McBride and Trace Adkins on the Shine All Night tour but will return to Nashville for her CD release party, which will be a full band show at The Rutledge on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
