Taylor Swift Takes Home Four Grammys

Taylor-Swift-Grammy-2010-Album-of-Year
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were jam-packed with entertaining performances and glamorous stars; it was also quite a big night for Country Music. Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band all took home awards.
Zac Brown Band won Best New Artist among all genres; Lady A accepted Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with vocals for “I Run to You”; and Urban received the award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for "Sweet Thing." Country’s sweetheart, Swift, who received the most awards of the night second to Beyonce’s six, took home four awards, including Country Album of the Year and Album of the Year for Fearless.
"I just hope that you know how much this means to me and Nathan [Chapman], my producer, and to all these musicians you see on this stage that we get to take this back to Nashville," Swift said while accepting the award for Album of the Year. "Oh my God, our families are freaking out in their living rooms! My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now. This is for my dad. Thank you for all those times you said I could do whatever I wanted in life. And my mom, you're my best friend.
“This is the story we’re going to be telling over and over again in 2010. We got to win album of the year at the Grammys.”
In performance news, Swift teamed up with her idol, Stevie Nicks, to deliver a unique performance of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" during the show. Swift also performed her newest single, "Today Was A Fairytake," as well as a portion of "You Belong With Me." In addition, Zach Brown Band was joined by Leon Russell to sing “America the Beautiful” and “Chicken Fried.”
Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher performed during the 3-D Michael Jackson tribute. His children accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of their dad.
T-Pain admitted his idea for a future collaboration backstage at the show. "The next person on my list to work with, I swear to God, is Carrie Underwood," T-Pain told Billboard.com. "Everyone else can suck it until I work with Carrie Underwood."
