Easton Corbin, Tom T. Hall to Headline CRS's Singer-Songwriter Showcase

Easton-Corbin

The Country Radio Seminar's annual WCRS Live! acoustic songwriter showcase will take place Thursday, Feb. 25. Headlining WCRS Live! this year will be legendary artist, songwriter and storyteller Tom T. Hall, along with fellow singer-songwriters Wynn Varble and Easton Corbin. All three have beyond impressive resumes in the Country Music industry.
Hall has recorded numerous No. 1 hits, including "The Year That Clayton Delaney Died," "Old Dogs, Children and Watermelon Wine," "A Week in a Country Jail," "Faster Horses (The Cowboy and the Poet)" and more. He has been around Country Music for six decades, producing Jeannie C. Riley’s hit "Harper Valley P.T.A." in 1968, as well as Alan Jackson’s "Little Bitty" in 1996. Hall was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
Varble was named Songwriter of the Year at the 2009 NSAI awards. At that same awards show, he won Song of the Year for Brad Paisley’s "Waitin’ on a Woman." Varble wrote his first No. 1 hit in 2003 for Darryl Worley’s "Have You Forgotten." Varble has also written songs for Garth Brooks, Lee Ann Womack, Montgomery Gentry, Gary Allan, Trace Adkins, Kellie Pickler and rookie Easton Corbin.
Corbin’s self titled debut album will be released this year on March 2. Corbin co-wrote four of the songs for the album, which already has a Top 20 single with "A Little More Country Than That."
