Nashville recording artist Jill King is doing her part to help raise funds for the relief effort in Haiti. All the proceeds from her song, “We Rise,” will be split between the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders to help the relief effort following Tuesday’s earthquake.
"This is a song I wrote a few months ago," King said. "I always knew it would help people but I wasn't exactly sure how until today. I hope this song will give people inspiration to help in any way they can and pray for those who can't help themselves right now. But most importantly, it's a message of hope. If we all band together, we can make a difference. Music is the best way I've known to do this."
