Congratulations are in order for singer John Rich and his wife, Joan, as they welcomed their first son, Cash Rich, into the world Sunday, Jan. 10. AOL's The Boot reported Tuesday that the baby, named after the late Johnny Cash, was born at a Nashville hospital just three days after his father's 36th birthday.
At November's CMA Awards, Rich said he didn't book a New Year's Eve show because he thought the baby would arrive around that time. He told The Boot, “I’m going to stay at home and wait on the big arrival…maybe get him some rhinestone diapers and a rhinestone pacifier!”
John and Joan dated for more than five years before tying the knot in 2008.
