Country Crossing Announces Grand Opening Schedule

Country Crossing, a new entertainment center in Dothan, Ala., recently announced artists scheduled to perform during its three-day grand opening event, Jan. 15-17. Headliners include Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, Lorrie Morgan and John Anderson.

“This is the first time in history that 20 artists, with a combined 120 million record sales and 66 No. 1 hits, will perform in three days at one venue – all free to the public,” said Ronnie Gilley, developer of Country Crossing. “You won’t have to go to a big city anymore to find high-caliber entertainment. We are bringing it right here.”

Country Crossing is a unique entertainment destination. Attractions include celebrity themed restaurants: John Anderson’s Cafeteria, Darryl Worley’s Worley Bird Saloon and Lorrie Morgan’s Hot Chicken. Phase One of the center also includes George Jones Possum Holler Bed & Breakfast, The Grascals Bluegrass Hollow RV Park, a 78-space RV park, and an electronic bingo entertainment center. Phase Two of the project is already underway and will include two hotels, a family entertainment center and more. Ribbon cutting ceremonies with artists and officials will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17.
