A Dallas-area charity experienced a not-so-bright holiday season when guitars signed by Country stars were stolen from a warehouse on Christmas Eve. The guitars, signed by Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Willie Nelson, were to be auctioned off as a fundraiser, according to the Country Standard Time.
The guitars were valued at about $70,000. Brian Hughes gather more than 60 autographed guitars to raise money at anauction for Friends of Purtis Creek State Park. The non-profit group sponsors a kids’ fishing day and special events on Easter and Halloween. They also help the state of Texas maintain and improve facilities at the park and its lake 12 miles north of Athens, Texas.

Thieves broke into a self-storage facility where Hughes kept the guitars. All that's left of his collection is a guitar autographed by a member of Rascal Flatts (pictured). Hughes had the guitar at his home when the warehouse the night the other guitars were stolen.
