Country singer Whitney Duncan is auctioning off her CMA gown on eBay, where 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Country Cares for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The auction is going on now and will end on December 19. The opening bid for the dress is $250.
The dress, which was featured in The Tennessean's CMA Best Dressed list, is a purple, authentic Italian Versace dress with a halter neckline and an empire waist.
Duncan states, “I really admire the hope that St. Jude offers families who are going through such a difficult season in their lives. Just because you’re not in the same battle doesn’t mean you can’t help fight the disease with them in any way you can – every little bit counts.”
