Trace Adkins reclaimed his role as the comic book hero, Luke McBain, in the second edition of the four part series.
Luke McBain #1 was released in early November and sold out within 48 hours of its initial release. Luke McBain #2 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, Dec. 16, and picks up right where the first part left off.
Adkins' likeness and persona inspired the character, portraying an ex-con returning to Louisiana after nearly 15 years of incarceration. The second edition picks up with McBain fighting for his life after a gunman in a helicopter wants him dead.
The comic was invented by comic legend David Tischman, famous for ''Red Herring", and 12 Gauge publisher Kevin Gardner, and features artwork by Kody Chamberlain and Brian Stelfreeze.
