Country Music legend Rosanne Cash earned a Grammy Award nomination this week for her work with rock star Bruce Springsteen. The Best Collaboration with Vocals nomination is for the duet "Sea of Heartbreak," which appears on Cash's critically acclaimed album, The List.

This is Cash's ninth Grammy nomination; she last won for Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 1985 for the single, "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me."

The List is a collection of 12 classic songs Cash selected from a list of "100 Essential Country Songs" that her legendary father, Johnny Cash, gave her when she was a teenager. "Sea of Heartbreak" is a remake of the 1961 Don Gibson hit.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31, 2010. The telecast will air on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
