Phil Vassar Push Up New Release In Time For Holidays

Award-winning singer/songwriter Phil Vassar is getting ready to release his album 'Traveling Circus' on December 15, 2009. This is sooner than anticipated, as the album was originally expected to drop in February.
A member of Universal Records South, Vassar produced the new album himself and even hired his road band to play on the album. His friend and high school art teacher Jason Erwin painted all of the album art, and "aspiring photographer" Wes Aldridge was responsible for the album's photo shoot. Chris Cella, a videographer fresh out of film school, produced the video for "Everywhere I Go," the first single from the new album.
When asked about his inspiration for the album, Vassar said in a press release, "My life has been one big traveling circus for many years and just felt like this is a perfect title for the release...I have been all over the country performing and wouldn't want my life to be any other way."
His single "Everywhere I Go" is getting decent airplay on country radio, and the accompanying video is expected to come soon.
Vassar recently became a spokesperson for Feeding America, which was formerly Second Harvest, and he has partnered with Red Roof Inn to help benefit Feeding America and help increase public awareness of hunger in our country.
