Teen Sensation Taylor Swift may take home her first People’s Choice award after receiving three nominations Tuesday.
According to CMT.com, the Tennessee native was nominated in the country genre, and contenders include Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban. Swift is also up for all-genre female artist with Beyonce, Brittney Spears and Pink, and she landed a nomination in pop artist with Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, Spears and Katy Perry.
The country superstar has been nominated once before in 2009 for her favorite country song “Love Story,” but lost to Underwood’s “Last Name.”
Country artists Tim McGraw and Keith Urban also received nominations for all-genre male artist alongside Eminem, Jason Maraz and John Mayer.
People Choice Awards will air live on CBS on Jan. 6, 2010.
