Hillbilly friends Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton teamed up on Shelton's latest single and video, "Hillbilly Bone." The two have been long-time friends and the opportunity was too good to pass up.
“I had the best day shooting this video with Trace. He has been a great friend for many years and for him to take time out and come down and play a hillbilly with me was so cool. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time," said Shelton.
"Hillbilly Bone" is scheduled for release via Yahoo! Music on Oct. 30 and will be available on iTunes Nov. 3. Fans can also find exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage on www.blakeshelton.com during the days leading up to the video's release.
The single will be featured on Shelton's forthcoming studio album and was written by Luke Laird and Craig Wiseman.
“[Shelton] is hands-down, one of the funniest guys I know, so doing this song and video with him was really a no-brainer," said Adkins of his partner on their comedic new single.
