Rising Country Music sensation Lady Antebellum's debut album went platinum. The trio received the 2008 CMA Award for Best New Artist of the Year, two Grammys and three CMT Music Award nominations. In the midst of their success, it's no surprise the band is planning to release their sophomore album, Need You Now, within the next year.

Vocalist Hilary Scott said, "This is just beyond anything we ever could have imagined when we sat down to write our first song together in 2006. I wish we could thank every one of the fans personally...that would be the coolest thing in the world for us. Everybody always says they have the best fans in the world, but 'everybody' hasn't met Lady A's fans...they are truly the best!"

Guitarist and accompanying vocalist Dave Haywood said the second album is going to be gripping and passionate. He added that the band has a newfound spark that’s creating the overall “feel” of the album and influenced the title as well. "There's a real sense of urgency and fire...almost like a spark has reignited us creatively in the studio...so when we started talking about album titles, 'Need You Now' felt like it summarized our vibe right now perfectly."

As if their fan base wasn’t big enough, Lady A’s recent tours with Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Martina McBride and Jason Aldean have created an even bigger buzz about the band. The band will appear on Late Night with Conan O’Brain Friday, Oct. 9.
