When Zac Brown’s wife, Shelly, had their daughter, Georgia Sloan, last month, their family grew to a total of five, with three children under the age of three. Many artists have struggled with balancing their family and a successful career, but Zac Brown has surrounded himself with friends and family who are willing to help him out.
"My support system at home is amazing. My in-laws are the best grandparents ever. My mother-in-law works with us to help take care of the babies, and we have a great nanny who is there five days a week," Brown told The Boot. "The kids are never lacking for attention. They are always surrounded by people who love and understand them and their needs, because kids are like little puzzles. Every kid has their own schedule and routine. Our kids are really amazing. They sleep 11 hours a night! They are amazing kids, and it's because of the support system that we have at home."
The Country star is looking forward to spending the upcoming holidays with his family. He said family time during Thanksgiving and Christmas gets better and better as his girls get older.
"Justice, my oldest one, is almost 3-years-old," he said. "She's really grasping onto things and having conversations now. It's awesome."
The Zac Brown Band is in the middle of their first tour as headliners on the Breaking Southern Ground Tour, which will continue into the fall.
