Dierks Bentley Offers Free Download on CMT.com

Dierks-Bentley
Dierks Bentley is partnering with CMT ONE COUNTRY to benefit his nationwide Miles & Music For Kids fundraiser. To raise awareness for the project, the Country star is offering a free download of his song, “Beautiful World,” featuring Patty Griffin, on CMT.com.

”This is definitely one of my favorite songs, not just from the last album, but probably that I’ve ever written and recorded,” explained Bentley. “The whole premise is that if you watch the news or read the headlines, there is a lot of really negative stuff happening out there that can pull you down, but if you choose to follow the good and believe in something better, then it is a ‘Beautiful World.’”

The Miles & Music For Kids fundraising project will benefit local hospitals in Nashville, Phoenix, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago that are part of the Children’s Miracle Network.

The concerts will kick off on Sunday, Oct. 11, at Riverfront Park in Nashville and the rest of the shows will take place into 2010. The show in Nashville will feature Bentley, Darius Rucker, Eric Church, Wynonna, Heidi Newfield and Michelle Branch and will benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
