Loveless Barn and WSM Team for Live Radio Show

Music City Roots: Live From The Loveless Cafe is the newest weekly radio show from WSM 650-AM, emceed by legendary broadcaster Eddie Stubbs.

It will air Wednesday nights from 7-9 p.m. CST from the Loveless Barn at the intersection of Highway 100 and the Natchez Trace Parkway in Nashville starting Oct. 14.

The show on opening night will feature Americana artist Emmylou Harris, Pam Rose and Mary Ann Kennedy and emerging artists Annie Crane and Robin Ainger.

Each broadcast is planned to feature three to four artists who will perform in 30-minute segments with a “Loveless Jam” ending the show where all the artists and their bands will be invited to collaborate on the fly.

Upcoming artists include Sam Bush, Radney Foster, John Cowan, Dexter Romweber, Dale Ann Bradley, Peter Bradley Adams, Mike Farris, Scott Miller and Webb Wilder.

"I can't wait to bring to life the evolving world of WSM music to a weekly live local audience at the Loveless, a weekly live national audience through 650 AM and a weekly global audience through www.wsmonline.com," said WSM 650-AM operations manager Joe Limardi.  “It's the coolest feeling to still be excited about something new and fresh after 84 years as a radio station!"

Audio of the shows will be streamed live on WSMonline.com and will be stored in their archives. They will also reach fans in other parts of the world via international syndication.
