The Nashville Music Garden, which honors songwriters, authors, TV personalities and organizations, will open Sept 29. The park will be the world’s first garden to pay tribute to celebrities and industry leaders with an array of namesake blooms. The park will host more than six dozen plants sharing names with Barbra Mandrell, Grand Ole Opry, Minnie Pearl, Pretty Woman, Purple Haze, Elvis, Tennessee Waltz Hank Williams and many more.

"I feel truly blessed to be part of the Nashville Music Garden. The garden will both add to the beautification of Music City as well honor Nashville's best!" explained Country singer Barbara Mandrell.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the Nashville Music Garden. There are plenty of eye-sores in the world. Thank goodness for people who fight back with flowers. God bless 'em!" said Pam Tillis, another celebrated artist of the garden.

TV personality Ralph Emery plans to host the festivities beginning at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29. The first 500 guests will receive complimentary biscuits and roses. For more information, visit www.nashvillemusicgarden.com.
