This year's Country Music Week will be held in Vancouver with a week packed full of country music performances, songwriter shows, seminars and the Canadian Country Music Association Awards. The events will take place from September 10 through September 13.
The award show willl take place on the last night to wrap up the week of events. Hosting this year's show will be Jason Priestly and US country stars Reba McEntire and Martina McBride will perform. Leading the nominations are Canadian country artists: Johnny Reid with six, Victoria Banks with five, George Canyon with five, and Dean Brody and Gord Bamford who both have four nominations.
