PBS Will Film Bluegrass Show At Grand Ole Opry

Rounder Records will celebrate their 40th anniversary with an event at the Grand Ole Opry with several special guests and host Minnie Driver.  The show will benefit NARAS's Grammy In The Schools Programs

Performers for the event include Allison Krauss & Union Station (featuring Jerry Douglass), Minnie Driver, Bela Fleck, and Mary Chapin Carpenter, among others.  About hosting the show, Driver says, "I am excited and honored to be a part of this stellar line-up and historic event that celebrates 40 years of great music while supporting a worthy cause.”

Rounder Records 40th anniversary celebration will be held on October 12, at the Grand Ole Opry and High Five Entertainment will be taping the show for a PBS special, which will begin to air in March 2010.  Tickets for the show will go on sale August 28 at 10:00AM CT and can be purchased at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Gaylord Opryland Hotel and though Ticketmaster.
