The Americana Music Association has announced that Nanci Griffith, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Raul Malo and the Greencards have been added to the performance lineup for this year’s Americana Music Festival.
The Festival will take place in Nashville Sept. 16-19.
Artist of the Year nominee Raul Malo will play Thursday night at 3rd & Lindsley. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will perform at the Cannery Ballroom on Friday. Nanci Griffith will play as part of an “in the round” with Elizabeth Cook and Mary Gauthier on Saturday during the festival.
All of the shows during the Americana Music Festival are open to the public. Festival wristbands, which include admission to all venues on all four evenings, can be purchased for $45. Wristbands can be purchased at Grimey’s New and Preloved Music (1604 8th Ave. South, Nashville) or at www.americanamusic.org, where you can also find a full festival line-up.
